Got to work this weekend on a sewing project after months of procrastination. An old Diesel shirt that has been with me since my days abroad in Denmark was about to become an experiment... I've never made leggings before. I read a few tutorials... didn't look that hard... and it wasn't! A little trial and error (I did practice on an old sleep shirt first) but I got the gist of it pretty quickly and put this little number together using my Brother Sewing Machine. Definitely turned out to be an instant favorite. I made them extra long and with a drawstring in front (elastic just in the back half of the waistband) so they'll work for him for awhile.
What do you think?

Update: almost a year later and Totes is still wearing these! They are perfect for lounging around the house or out to our weekly class at the Little Gym and he's finally grown in the the length so I don't have to roll them up anymore.
